Community Involvement

Kid Scoop News provides a monthly publication to select classrooms in the Bay Area. Each student receives a copy that includes activities incorporating topics like sports, pets, and science, to generate a child’s interest in reading.

For over 40 years, Sonoma Land Trust has been carrying out their mission to protect and conserve scenic, natural, agricultural, and open landscapes. They are committed to practicing and promoting stewardship through restoration, activities, education, and outreach.

The Laguna Foundation has been restoring and conserving the Laguna de Santa Rosa and surrounding wetlands since 1989. They inspire our community by educating students and the public about the Laguna’s significant role in our watershed.

The Sebastopol Senior Center provides education and resources to the community to promote independence for older adults. They provide a fun environment for learning, social, and recreational activities.

Rebuilding Together Sebastopol has been serving the Sebastopol area since 2004. With the help of our generous and dedicated community, they’ve been able and continue to revitalize many homes.

Friends of Penngrove Parent Teacher Association is a group of dedicated parents committed to supporting the Penngrove Elementary School community.

SOZO Student Center is safe place for teens and young adults to hang out, with access to resources, like workshops that promote development.

Western Sonoma County Youth Soccer League provides recreational soccer to children in western Sonoma county.

The Sebastopol Community Cultural Center focuses on enhancing the community by providing events, classes, and services for all ages.

Conservation Works is a nonprofit organization performing environmental education and action with youth and our community that involves on-the-ground change in pollinator protection, water conservation, climate change, and healthy sustainable communities.

Formed in 1925, Rotary Club of Sebastopol has been going strong for almost 100 years, funding and volunteering for worthy projects.
