Groundwater
Levels
The California Department of Water Resources monitors water levels in  about 1,400 water wells in northern California. Depth measurements are taken twice per year, once in the spring when groundwater levels are highest, and once in the fall when they are lowest. You can view these levels on the Web and graphically view changes over time.
